This weekend we joined some of our friends for a birthday weekend (not ours, theirs) backpack trip to
Henry Coe State Park. HCSP is California's largest state park. It is a wilderness gem in California's crown just a few miles south of San Jose.
We saw roughly a trillion lady bugs...really an amazing site:
Henry Coe is known for its wildflowers in the spring and our visit did not disappoint!
A budding California Buckeye:
A field of shooting stars:
13 stream crossings in 1 mile!
The group:
Frost??? What's that???
The camp at night, 15 minute exposure:
Newt?
Chillaxin' in the Coe, yo!
