We had a great trip to the
Big Island of Hawaii.
We stayed on a coffee plantation high on the mountain for our first few nights. We enjoyed Kona coffee,
went SCUBA diving and snorkeling,
saw Manta Rays,
kayaked with dolphins (check out the one jumping just below the paddle),
and watched the sunset while grilling fish on the beach.
We then drove around the island to the volcano. On the way we stopped at the southern most point in the USA.
We saw steam plumes on the edge of the volcano,
and smoke belching out of the earth.
We slept in a cute little house,
and had "tasty" lunch.
We hiked in Volcanoes National Park,
and saw amazing plants.
We continued our trip around the island and climbed Mauna Kea,
and slept near waterfalls,
and drove by huge valleys,
until we made it all the way back around the island.
Where we got some rest. On the beach.
Here is a link to our entire photo album (it has been edited for brevity, if you can believe it!)

If you like Spam so much, I'll take you to the Spam museum next time you're in MN ....
PS -- I LOVE the dolphins ... and the horses ... and the kitties ... and the seals (Why do you always see so many animals on your vacations?)
Isn't Hawaii amazing? It's like a whole new world over there and you never want to return. (not unlike other vacations, but it really is different - I think you know what I mean). It looks like you made the most of your trip, which is awesome.
